
Started his musical education as pianist and violoncellist. Later on he changed his focus to voice and graduated in Janáček Conservatoire. He furthered his studies with Eliška Pappová in Czech, Athens conservatory with Medea Iassionidou and in Opera studio in Rome with Anna Vandi and Renata Scotto. He attended classes with Andreas Scholl , Emma Kirkby and is mentored by mezzo soprano Vivica Genaux.
He made his debut in International Festival Wratislavia Cantans (musical director Giovanni Antonini) in Wroclaw (Narodowe Forum Muzyki), where he sang the title role of Tolomeo ed Alessandro with Wroclaw Baroque Ensemble. Followed by recording for Czech radio with role of Amore in modern premiere of opera La Psiche by Carlo Badia.
Vojtěch performed in festivals such as Schleswig - Hollstein music festival, Festival Music and Dance in Granada, Rheinghau music festival, Prague spring festival, Athens music festival.
He formed KontraMoment Ensemble which is focused on early baroque and contemporary music and most recently Trialogue trio with the award winning cellist and singer Dorota Barová and theorbist Jan Krejča building bridges among the styles.
Vojtěch is winner of Dušek - Mozart competition in Prague and finalist of Schlossoper Haldenstein singing competition in Switzerland.
He has performed with various prestigious ensembles such as Czech Philharmonic, Janacek Philharmonic, Pilsen Philharmonic, Bamberger Symphoniker, Elbipolis Baroque Orchestra Hamburg, Hamburger Symphoniker, NDR Orchestra Elbphilharmonie. Vojtěch has worked with conductors such as Roger Norringhton, Christoph Eschenbach, Ion Marin, Sylvain Camberling, Helmuth Blomstedt, and Jeffrey Tate.
